Private by default

No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

Works offline

The whole deck is on your phone. Use it on a long drive, on a flight, with your phone on Do Not Disturb.

Soft on purpose

No streaks that punish you, no notifications that nag, no leaderboards. Pass anytime — really.

What's inside

Hand-written. Hand-counted. Plenty.

Every prompt is written for two people who already know each other. Nothing generic, nothing too earnest, nothing that asks for a five-paragraph answer.

430 cards
From two-line jokes to slow questions you'll come back to.
14 categories
Silly, Sweet, Curious, Bedtime, Wildcards — mix the energy of the night.
8 curated decks
Pre-mixed for the moods you actually have: tired, road, anniversary, bedtime.
Curated decks

Eight ways to start.

Pick the one that fits the night. The home screen quietly re-orders them: Sunday Morning weights up on weekends, Date Night on Friday evenings, Five-Minute Bedtime in the late hours.

card 1
Curiosity
What's something small you've never told me but kind of want to?
How to play

Three rules. That's the whole game.

The rules are the design. Anything that asked for more than this would change what the app is.

1

Pass anytime.

Either person can skip a card. No explanation needed.

2

Take the first answer.

A short answer counts. A funny answer counts too.

3

Keep it playful.

Ask follow-ups when they feel welcome. Stop while it still feels fun.

Features

Quietly more than you'd guess.

Designed to disappear into the evening, but with the small comforts you'll appreciate the second time you reach for it.

Today's Card

One thoughtfully picked prompt for the day — weighted to your most-played categories, never repeating yesterday.

Custom decks

Build your own from any cards. Add all your favorites, drag to reorder, save it for a rainy night.

Read aloud

Hands-free in the car or in bed. Voice picker, pace slider, optional auto-read on advance — mixes with your music.

Private notes

Save a quiet note against any card. Browse them by month. Export a beautiful PDF when you want a keepsake.

Sessions timeline

Each finished round is logged with what you played and how long — or not, if you'd rather forget. Up to you.

Three soft reminders

Optional: Sunday morning, Friday wind-down, Bedtime question. You set the time and the mood. Easy to turn off.

Warm dark mode

Tuned for late-night light. Deep table backgrounds, parchment text, restrained accents. Easy on tired eyes.

Take your data

One tap exports favorites, custom decks, notes, and sessions as JSON. Your stuff, your file.

iPhone & iPad

A two-pane layout on iPad. Readable widths on long screens. Reduce Motion, VoiceOver, and large Dynamic Type all behave.

A look inside

What it actually looks like.

No marketing chrome — these are the real screens, on a real phone, in the warm card-table palette.

Anniversary aware

Set the date. The deck remembers.

Tell Us Again your anniversary and the Milestones deck quietly rises to the top of the home screen the week of, with a soft "today" or "in 3 days" badge. The rest of the year it sits politely with the other decks.

  • Sunday Morning weights up on weekends.
  • Date Night surfaces on Friday evenings.
  • Five-Minute Bedtime appears late at night.
  • Today's Card avoids what you've recently seen and never repeats yesterday.
Quietly opinionated

What's not here.

Every line is a choice. Us Again is small on purpose — the things we left out are part of why it works.

  • No accounts. Nothing to sign up for, no friends to add, nothing to log in to. Open, play, close.
  • No analytics or trackers. Not even the "privacy-friendly" kind. We don’t know what you played and we don’t want to.
  • No streaks that punish you. Skip a week. Skip a month. Come back and the deck is exactly where you left it.
  • No leaderboards, no scoring, no social. The other person is right there. That’s the audience.
  • No AI-generated cards. Every prompt was written and pruned by a person. You can tell the difference.
  • No subscriptions. Pay $4.99 once. The deck is yours.
A few honest questions

Everything you might want to know.

Do we both need the app?

No. Us Again is designed for one phone passed back and forth. There’s a small, optional turn indicator that nudges you to take turns reading the prompts aloud. Anything you save (favorites, notes, custom decks) lives on whichever phone the app is installed on.

Will it work on my iPad?

Yes. Us Again is universal — one purchase covers iPhone and iPad on the same Apple ID. On iPad, the app uses a two-pane layout with a sidebar.

What happens if my partner and I aren’t in the same room?

Read it aloud over a video call, or use Apple’s SharePlay-friendly hands-free voice to read each card. There’s no two-device sync — on purpose — but long-distance couples have told us reading the prompts on a call works beautifully.

How "deep" do the prompts get?

It’s a range. Silly Warm-Up is genuinely silly (“If our house had a theme song, what would it be?”), Bedtime is reflective, and Wildcards can land anywhere. The first rule of the game is “pass anytime,” and the app makes that frictionless.

Is there anything sexual in the deck?

The deck touches on intimacy, affection, and physical closeness in the gentle way long-term couples tend to talk about it. There’s no graphic content. Apple’s 17+ rating reflects “infrequent/mild mature/suggestive themes” out of caution.

What if I want to add my own cards?

You can build custom decks from any cards in the app. We don’t support typing in your own prompts — the writing is the product — but the curation is fully yours.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Settings → Export my data creates a JSON file with your favorites, custom decks, notes, sessions, names, and anniversary. You can also export your notes timeline as a beautifully formatted PDF.

Is it really $4.99 once?

Yes. One-time purchase, lifetime access. No subscriptions, no upsells, no ads. Restore Purchase on a new device through the App Store.

One price. Forever.
