Which version this describes
Us Again 2.0 is currently in TestFlight testing. It makes every card and feature free and introduces optional permanent ad removal. The advertising provisions below describe 2.0 when advertising is enabled. Earlier App Store versions do not include advertising SDKs. TestFlight may display clearly identified test advertisements.
Your conversations stay on your device
Us Again does not require an account. Notes, saved cards, custom decks, round history, unfinished rounds, optional names, anniversary information and preferences are stored locally. Recommendations and round selection run on your device. We do not send these contents, your searches or your deck selections to Google for advertising. There is no separate product analytics or session-recording service.
Optional reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS. Memories lock uses your device's authentication, including its passcode; anyone who knows that passcode can unlock Memories.
Advertising and privacy choices in 2.0
The free experience uses Google's AdMob Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent choices. Eligible banners appear on Play and Discover, never during a conversation, on its completion screen or in Memories. A one-time purchase removes advertising. Previous Lifetime Unlock purchases keep the app ad-free. Advertising is suppressed while purchase ownership is unresolved.
The app requests non-personalized advertising, disables Google's publisher first-party ID and does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier through an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing.
Google's SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from them), app- or device-related identifiers, crash and performance diagnostics, advertising data and interactions. Google uses SDK data for advertising, measurement, diagnostics and security. See Google's SDK data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy.
Where required, the app presents privacy choices before requesting an ad. Required regional privacy controls are also available in Settings. Declining consent never locks cards or features. You can play offline. Following a consent or network failure, the app continues without an ad.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases. Us Again receives verified transaction and entitlement information to recognize permanent ad removal and restoration. We do not receive your payment-card details. Resetting app data does not cancel a valid purchase; Restore Purchases is available in Settings.
Exports, backups and deletion
Exports are readable JSON or PDF files and may include personal notes and names. You choose where to save or share them. Anyone receiving a file can read its contents. Purchase ownership and advertising-consent state are not restored from a personal-data export.
The app keeps local recovery copies when migrating or replacing personal data. Local content remains until you delete it. Settings provides a reset for app data, including local recovery copies. Copies you exported or shared must be deleted separately. iOS device backups may contain app data according to your device settings; Us Again does not provide automatic cloud synchronization.
Google's handling and retention of advertising data are described in its retention policy. Deleting local app data does not delete information already processed by Google or Apple. Their privacy controls and policies govern that information.
Diagnostics and support
We may use Apple's available crash diagnostics and App Store reports, Google's advertising reports, and information you voluntarily send for support. If you contact us, your email provider and ours process that correspondence. Avoid including private notes or exports unless you intend to share them. You can contact us about access to or deletion of information you sent to support.

Website
This website is separate from the iOS app. It uses Cloudflare and may load Google Fonts. Requests to those providers expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
